Reasons to Exercise

When exercising, we all have a reason not to go. I personally over the years have come up with quite a few reasons. It seems that all of them start with I cannot. There is a list of reasons why we all need to start exercising.

The first is that it will boost energy levels. Exerting energy increases the metabolic rate. It seems odd that we are boosting metabolic levels by using up energy. One might not notice this right away; however, it does happen. In my personal experience, I saw it within a few weeks.

The other major improvement is that exercise causes endorphins to be released which improves your mood. This means that it is hard to be depressed when you exercise. I was told by a psychiatrist once that if you want to avoid depression take at least a mile walk every day. So, it does not matter what the exercise is it just needs to be done at least 3 to 4 times a week.

Next on the list is exercise, which will build muscle and bone. What happens when we are just sitting around our body is loss of bone and muscle. I experienced this after a work accident. Within one year of no use, I had lost bone mass to the point where a break would not heal. When I re-entered the gym, it was small weight and high reps.

I could go into all the other benefits of exercise like better sleep, reduced risk of chronic disease, brain function, and reduced pain. Basically, to live a better life we need exercise. I know that returning to the gym has greatly improved my life. Contact me and I will help you become a better you by achieving your goals.
